Looking for people with Indigenous and/or Torres Strait Islander backgrounds for consultations
SANE is looking to interview people with lived experience as consumers or carers, with an Indigenous and/or Torres Strait Islander background, for the Federal Government’s Mental Health Online Gateway project. Participation involves a phone interview for about 45 minutes, where we will discuss diagnoses, treatments, and general experiences of living with or caring for someone with a mental illness. We will then select a few quotes from the interview which will be peppered through the new Online Gateway, adding a human element to the website.
Participants will receive a $100 honorarium for their involvement. Ideally, the interview would take place in the next two weeks. Please contact emma.clark@sane.org if you are interested.
Thanks!
