totally deaf , but I am here
went to get my hearing aid tuned in and the specialist said , can`t do it -- you have to get rid of the wax first
been put ear drop in a t night , went to the doctor today to get it washed out and it won`t come out
so no work today, putting 10 drops in the ear every hour until i see the doctor again tomorrow , so fingers crossed for tomorrow

@Shaz51 That's maddening. It makes sense though. I had a solid plug of wax in one ear from bad swimmers ear as a teenager, and didn't realise how much it was affecting my hearing until I couldn't hear what a friend was saying on the phone. I could imagine that with a hearing aid mis-tuned to compensate for the wax, you'd be getting topped out noise once it cleared. Hope it comes out OK, the water syringe is a yucky process.

Wandering between various tasks and virtual company at the moment. I had the JCA for DSP yesterday, and am feeling drained. Maybe it's a TLA related problem...
