I agree 100% with everything you just wrote @Snowie
I suppose when I actually write the words 'I need help' I just presume that others would know that I am reaching crisis point and if that help doesn't come or someone needs help at the same time then I am more reluctant to ask again when I really need it. I certainly don't want to add to anyone else's pain and feel that is what I would be doing if I said exactly how I was feeling.

@Zoe7I think maybe we met in a different life!
Perhaps you need a word that people know that you can just write. What I mean is that with my job when other teachers had a student in distress, they would write the word "(well I wont sayit)" on a piece of paper and get a student to bring it to my office.
I knew straight away on seeing that word that I needed to go and get that student and also a welfare person.
Perhaps you could just write that one word and we know that you need assistance. Maybe something you could think about

Honestly @Shaz51 I am just holding on tonight - has been this way for a few days. It will not take much to send me 'over the edge' so I am sticking to this thread and trying to concentrate on myself and the people here - that is all I can deal with tonight.
I am pleased to hear that you are feeling a little better tonight - must be so debilitating at times for you to deal with your health issues - I do feel for you knowing how much mine have completely devastated my life along with the MI side of things

@Zoe7sometimes saying the words "I need help, I am in distress, I am about to SH, etc" are really hard to say.
So if you can just say one word such as for example "Red, Tyre, Soccer, etc" really anything, people will know you need help, support, love

Thank you @Shaz51 I really like @Snowie's idea of having a word I can use when I need support - would make it easier than saying how I am or leaving when I think others need support more. By having just one word it could indicate that I can't engage in conversations with others or provide support myself as I am not in the right place to do so - the more I think about this @Snowie the better and better it is sounding
