casadastraphobia

Casadastraphobia (Colloquial), Is a fear of falling into the sky or looking up at the sky. It can also encompass a fear of looking off into the distance, fear of falling into an open panorama, or even through floors. It’s often associated with a fear of being trapped, being in tunnels or on bridges. Casadastraphobics feel better on cloudy days, hate being in open places, prefer being surrounded by buildings or trees, often have to walk close to building walls or even bring a walking aid for support. Some casadastraphobics will become house bound with the fear. Often casadastraphobics fear looking at high or large buildings and often fear being in large open buildings.  Although I’m unsure if it is a sub set of agoraphobia or a separate issue, people suffering from casadastraphobia are often called agoraphobic. I was wondering if anybody else, other than me, suffers from this?

Re: casadastraphobia

Hey there @PD_Perhaps  I have not heard of this myself, really sorry you're up against some of these symptoms. Even if members of our community do not experience this exact illness, we can certainly help provide some peer support around the feelings you're experiencing through this. Heart
