Happy Sunday, @Fancy_Pants Cat Happy

Another quiet Sunday here as usual. Still have the blinds drawn as it happens. Feeling okay in mood regardless! Off to visit a friend for take away dinner later, a ritual we've been keeping at least once a week for many years. She's not well today and I'm recovering from an all-nighter (naughty with my sleeping hours over the weekend). I may also get to the beach for a walk. If not today, I'll be doing that tomorrow.

I wonder what everyone else is up to this Sunday.

Re: SUNDAY FUNDAY

Quiet day here (as quiet as it ever gets with two short humans in the house!!) I didn't sleep last night and feeling a bit sick - not sure if I'm coming down with something or just body saying its tired!!
I have some water colour paint books ready for the kids and if it dries up enough we might go to play ground later.
Yesterday was 42.9 here today it's 22 - and got 10mls of rain in an hour this morning. The cool change is on its way to Victoria!! Hang in there!!
💕

Re: SUNDAY FUNDAY

The cool change was a life saver. Out at the farm today, so *very* thankful for the cooler weather. Got a bit wet, but I'd rather cool and wet than hot.

I got a Christmas present from my boss at the farm!!!
We each got a pack of 10 ear tags in our colour, and they have our stud name written on them. I may send a pic in a bit.
She was worried we wouldn't like them, you should have seen is when we saw!! We were so excited!

I got to see my doofus heifer too, and put her blue tag in. She looks very pretty and stands out.

The best Christmas pressiesare the useful ones, I reckon. Look at the tag! So cool. And it will not fade in the sun too. Woman Very Happy

Re: SUNDAY FUNDAY

she looks so beautiful @Crazy_Bug_Lady, wow they have come a long way with year tags, is she going to get a nose ring? Anyway she is lucky to have a mum like you 🙂

Re: SUNDAY FUNDAY

Hello everybody

Funny that personalised tags must be the thing of the moment.

I have just finished "creating" personal online pressies for my niece and nephew in Sydney: wallet and tote.

cheers

Re: SUNDAY FUNDAY

Hey @Jacques she won't get a permanent nose ring, we only put them on bulls. She will have a nose clip though for showing.
We start halter-training in a few weeks!! I am getting excited.

Re: SUNDAY FUNDAY

OMG @Crazy_Bug_Lady, you need to update your profile pic with her new tag 😄 that would look awesome!!!!!

Oh really all the steers around here have perminant ones, for leading, don't the nose clips come off when they pull back or go the wrong way? may have improved from my time of working with cattle?

Oh i do hope she is a good heifer, and leads well, she looks like she has a nice straight back, and she is very well groomed too 🙂

I am wishing you all the best with the trainning
