Morning @Sans911
Hoping some of those big emotions settle soon 💜

Re: The Challenges of Mental Health Wellbeing

Does it make me a hypocrite today when I'm going to a workshop about saving people from suicide yet I can't seem to save myself or give a care. I don't want to hurt the ones I love and who love me back, but when dies my hurting stop? When dies the torture of my mind and the ache in my chest stop? When is good enough, enough?

Re: The Challenges of Mental Health Wellbeing

You are enough @Sans911

Re: The Challenges of Mental Health Wellbeing

My Like is “I hear you” @Sans911 ......

Think you might have a childhood recording - of someone else’s voice - somewhere in there, playing “not good enough” on repeat ......

If there is any truth in that, whose voice might that be ? And can you actively work with your therapist to at least turn down the volume on it, if not turn it off ?

Think of a tape recording ..... (yes, I am from the age of the tape recorder) and picture yourself walking across the room and turning it off ..... saying in the same moment, “Nope, that voice is not mine, and I don’t want to listen to it any more !”

See if that helps, maybe ?

No it does not make you a hypocrite, it just means you are hurting.

Let the forum members life you up and carry you along when you cannot. We will hold the light when you cannot yourself. You are enough Heart
