~ The Toolshed ~

Re: ~ The Toolshed ~

Grems @Former-Member your Toolshed posts are poignant. I blame the Hustle culture, Have It All culture and Thrive culture.

It’s a bucket 🪣 of snot, splashed all over social media, making us think what’s wrong with me?

Even my daughter got sucked into it.

A period of time after her 15 year relationship ended, she said. “You read about it all the time. Women my age meet the perfect man, after the end of a long term relationship. They get married and have a baby. Where’s mine!”

No wonder we have MH problems, with these ridiculous stories foisted upon us.

Rant over 😬

@Glisten there's a reason I avoid too much social media, It's all a load of sh!t!

Social media is one of the biggest things that contributes to our mental health, the toxic negativity of news stories, the online bullying, the false hope given by fake stories. Sometimes i miss the days when we didn't have all the online platforms, things were simpler then.

Re: ~ The Toolshed ~

@Former-Member I love ALL of your Toolshed posts. You even found a purple Duchess 🙌🏼 AMAZING 🤩

Other people’s expectations are a pain in the butt. They haven’t loved our experience of life.

Sleeping for 3 days is a completely normal thing for us to do. No excuses needed.

That’s why I love your Toolshed posts.

Big HUGS 🫂
