@Jynx oh I'm stressing about finishing Buffy and Angel cos I'm like what's next. And the old shows aren't on the streaming services, I have them on DVD but can't watch them in my room and I'm not sitting in my loungeroom all night. Such a predicament. I never got into charmed.

Ach that's a shame it's not a safe show for you @Gremlin24 because I reckon you'd really like it!! How often do you get the brain space to indulge in a new tv show?

@Jynx honestly maybe a couple of times a year. It's just too much to even think about trying most of the time.

Very legit @Gremlin24 I'm the same with food especially. I reckon I got undiagnosed ARFID from childhood, prolly related to the undiagnosed ND lol. So whilst I've gotten waaaay better (cooking for myself helps immensely, cos I have control over the ingredients) there's still times where the thought of trying a new food - even if it smells good! - is soooo overwhelming. My throat will physically close and I won't be able to swallow, it's gnarly.
Really hammers home just how much our bodies are impacted by our mental health stuff hey!
What are your other comfort shows? Sucks that you can't watch em!! No moving DVD player into room?

@Jynx oh I totally get it, I'm the same with foods and textures. Like I can't eat polenta the smell and the texture just ugh, I can't even. I only cook for myself, no take away cos I don't have that control over what goes into it. And if I chuck up then anything I've eaten that day I won't ever eat again for fear of it happening again.
It's quite interesting how much things can affect us not only mentally but physically. It can be quite debilitating.
Umm bewitched, I dream of Jeannie, happy days, everybody loves Raymond, fraiser, the nanny, full house. There's others but I can't think off the top of my head.

Yeah I'll say @Gremlin24 it's sooooo debilitating!! That really sucks too about chucking up - there's a few foods I can't do for the same reason, but it's not just any food I chuck up. But keep those chocolate coated almonds AWAY FROM ME FOREVER WORLD 🤣
That's so rough hun.
Lots of classics there!! Like all of the tv shows from channel 10 in the 90's lol I love it!!
Me, I'm a cartoon fan. I will probably re-watch She-Ra soon (the new Netflix one, it's absolutely phenomenal) and maybe Avatar the Last Airbender too. They just hit me sooooo good in the feels!!

@Jynx i know exactly where it stems from too, there was a time when my mother made me eat pumpkin soup even after I said I was full and felt sick, she made me keep eating and it resulted in me chucking up. It's so annoying how our brains work sometimes.
I like old school cartoons, flintstones, looney tunes etc. But it's so hard to find them now days.

@rav3n they are such good shows, really wish they would put them on the streaming services.
I also love greenacres.

@Gremlin24 oh yep hello rage. That makes me so mad to hear, I'm really sorry that happened to you.
Oh yes Looney Tunes was a classic in my childhood!! Kinda funny, kinda very not funny story - so there's a few very old Looney Tunes cartoons that have been banned due to how utterly racist they were. I was curious one day and went to see what they were, only to discover that one of these banned cartoons was one that we literally had on VHS, that I watched a bunch of times growing up. It was so weird and uncomfortable to re-watch it with like, my adult brain perspective.
If it weren't its own particular kind of challenge I'd suggest op shops for old school DVDs! Do you do alright in places like that or are crowds too much for ya system?
