@Patches59 I had an ancient cat with a mucky eye, He tolerated my wiping it with a wet tissue much better than a dry one. Poor chap, once when it was particularly inflamed I used my own soothing eyedrop and he purred. It's hard to know sometimes as they mask their pain. Tiger is less mobile and can't scratch himself when his arthritis injection is coming due, but before he started the injections he'd cry out sometimes.
I hope your terracotta bowls work out. They should look good when they're full of flowers,

nice surprise this morning, my boys eye is all cleared up.
has been usual routine with him only being around me for last couple weeks. Appears his stress levels have drop which is a huge relief.
tonight I’ve planted 4 different kalanchoe each side of the drive way. One side starting from near the gutter the colours are light pink, red, white, dark pink. They run in reverse colour order on other side.
yesterday I was up just after sunrise, 4 kalanchoe that have been in front garden bed have all been moved to different spots in that same area plus planted one new one.
temperatures here are crazy. Low 20’s yesterday, high 20’s today (still quite warm outside at 7pm when I quit). Low 30’s predicted for tomorrow with another 30’s predicted for next week. Even giving them a drink, quite a few of the plants I bought on Friday evening are not doing good.
Lisianthus still in their pots and doing well with buds opening. I’m wondering if I’m best to research other succulents that might fit into the fairy garden theme Ive semi got. I’ve got different types solar lights plus some ornaments in the theme …. as for the plants 🤔🤔

So glad your cat's eye has come good @Patches59 .
I saw some lovely flowering kalanchoes at Coles the other day and was tempted but can't afford them at present. Maybe in a few weeks. I've just had some big expenses.
Interesting ideas on fairy gardens with lights and ornaments. For me I'd like to encourage birdlife etc and like hearing the possums around so I guess my ideal garden is wilder. But I love the look of colourful plants too so I'll probably need different zones even though my garden is only small

Thanks @Jynx looking forward to seeing the pics.
I have decorative solar lights I bought last year, I’ll take some photos within next few days. Already quite warm outside. Mushrooms that have lights in the top, ones in shape of butterfly, ones I use around garden edge where top is mushroom shape.
recently bought small sign of metal stake that mentions fairy garden. Ornaments I’ve got are mushroom house, seated fairy, gypsy wagon
@Dimity I recently saw pots of mixed colour flowering Kalanchoe at Coles also, too $ for me. I paid $17 at Bunnings for exact same. Coles was tempting though due to them having different colours.

First one looks different with the dark tips to the leaves @Jynx
plant in the boot looks nice, think it might be Jelly Bean plant. I had something similar at a previous house which got out of control
one in the second hanging pot are nice, some can get quite large. Does it produce flowers on a long stalk like?
I like the idea of sedum blob plants due to their different colours … dome shape sounds intriguing. I also like the look of these (see below). Different colour leaves I think might be nice

@Patches59 those small round sedums would look good with the fairy ornaments.
I haven't heard yet when the digger is coming to open up my backyard. Most of the plants that were dug up to clear access look OK, apart from the parsley.

@Dimity oh no, I hope it doesn't become past-ley!
Okay terrible pun is over, back to your regularly scheduled Wednesday!! Teehee
@Patches59 Thanks for another excuse to get out into the garden hehe
So I totally forgot I have this app that identifies plants!! Here's the ID's 😁 You were right about the jellybean!
I also thought maybe these ones? Lavender scallops - they are my favs in terms of how they change hues!!
Last one - little loungey jelly bean!
I love those lil dome ones!! And yes, they do flower in that way where they shoot up out the middle!!

Love those succulents @Jynx .
I'm trying to grow some from discarded pieces I've picked up on my walks.
