Jasmines all were dug up and removed from trellis last week. Took about 1hour to deal with the 3 plants. Next step is gradually getting rid of them amongst my rubbish.
went to Bunnings on Friday after physio and purchase the new plants for out the front. Yesterday dug up from out the front and potted into couple large pots out the back my 3 chrysanthemum plants.
my husband was not good at keeping things together. Couple people at photography group advised first step with the cameras is to charge the batteries. Had to search online for information about the cameras. One camera just uses AA batteries and has quite limited capabilities. Two cameras I need to ask one specific person in our photography group about. Last camera appears to have good possibilities. Waiting on new battery and battery charger, that I had to buy, to arrive.
with my OA I take OTC pain meds daily. I also have anti inflammatory meds which are on script. Both do almost nothing. I find heat pack at times helps. Hardly a day goes by now when I’m not in some degree of pain. Sudden drop in temperature isn’t good, single digit last night resulted in me waking in pain early hours this morning. Thank goodness for cellular knit blankets and polar fleece blankets

Sounds like you're reimagining the garden @Patches59 - sounds promising but a lot of work I'm been banned from heavy digging for life and am unsure how much I can do but want to get rid of blackberries and transplant a number of things. I'm trialling a gardener.
It's good you've got some guidance with the cameras. My great uncle got a lot of pleasure from photography. He said he bought his camera after seeing mine. His landscape photos in particular were wonderful - he enjoyed mountaineering and hiking into his old age.
Yes hear packs help me too. Last night used my electric blanket.
Have you been able to track down the snail creepers you want?

@Patches59 oh true, how'd they do the back stretching? Cos all I can picture is the Rack, y'know that medieval torture device 🤣
Oooh exciting, fingers crossed you're out snapping pics in no time!!
Ach right there with ya, was doing some yard work today and it's just so nice to smell the soil, feel the grass, and see all the little bugs come to visit!! Plus my mint bush has been fluffing out a lot so I'm thinking of making mojitos hehehe
Oh gosh, that's a big cat!! Would definitely play havok with your back. Hope kitty got a clean bill of health!

@Jynx medieval torture rack Love it. 😸
Can’t fully remember set up physio used. Remember I had a band around my ankles which was fastened to a machine.
hes a big, long cat. Vet commented about him being a long cat. I had concerns, vet didn’t. My boy has cat herpes. Visit from a relative recently had him hiding entire time she was at my place ie few hours. Vet advised eye discharge looks worse than normal due to recent stressors.
today collected the 4 new Lego I recently ordered.
Am hoping new battery and charger arrives soon.
Daughter of a neighbour dug up and took my 4 remaining daisy plants this morning. I’m happy they are gone and she’s going to plant them at her place. Current plans are few days time dig up Kalanchoe in front garden bed and plant into new spots. A neighbour is going to help get terracotta bowls into the soil and plant 2 up with mix of pansies and violas, 2 others with lobelia.
I mentioned to this same neighbour I want to have raised garden beds in my back yard. Before I could say anything more he was asking for my thoughts on size and is going to build me the beds using sleepers. I was thinking about putting snail creeper on the trellis on back fence. With garden beds being about 70cm high, don’t see it working

That's nice of your neighbour @Patches59 .
Maybe plant a snail creeper in one of the raised beds?
One of my cats had FIV too. The main effect for him was tooth resorption - big holes in his teeth and he lost his canines. I miss him, he had a lovely personality. .
My back garden is becoming very expensive. Someone dug up a lot of plants today and put them in pots for me, to clear the way for a digger to take out a tree and a huge old clump of Nandina. I want more light as a new 2 storey place is going to block most of my view of the sky. Hopefully the work will be done next week.

@Patches59 Oh we love a LONG BOY!! So cute - does the herpes require much maintenance? Friend of mine has cats with cerebellar hypoplasia, which meant SO much extra care. They were so cute tho - the wobbly twins!!
Oooh! What Lego?
Aww love that you and your neighbours all swap and collaborate on gardening! That's really wholesome.
I was thinking about a raised garden bed myself recently! Going for simple though, I have like... mustard thumbs? As in not quite brown, but not quite green either!!
@Dimity grrrr noooo I hate that you're losing sky!! Hurrumph.

@Dimity My boy doesn’t have FIV, that is much worse than feline herpes. Unless discharge from his eyes gets worse there is nothing to be done.
@Jynx symptoms of feline herpes is similar to cat flu. My boy always has small amount dark discharge from one or both eyes. Recently been sneezing plus discharge from one eye is like red mucus. If shows signs on infection it’s back to the vet.
Lego - I’ve started putting the Flower Arrangement together. Also bought Tudor Corner, Botanic Garden and The Esperance. Tonight I’ve ordered River Steamboat.
going to need to get couple shelves installed to display the steamboat and The Esperance.
It’s a nice mix of people doing their own things plus willing to help others where I live.
my mum used to say I had a brown thumb ……. Plants didn’t survive, even if I only touched them 😆
@Dimity I’m guessing opposition to the height of the new building were not successful 😢 Not fair you will be loosing some of the light etc 😡

@Patches59 Your boy's eyes sound sore. I wonder if eyedrops would help.
The Lego sounds great.
I had no opportunity to object to the building. I wasn't notified of the planning application, and the height was within the new planning guidelines anyway. There's also almost no setback for any sort of garden or trees.
Good luck with your garden redesign. The potted annuals will be pretty but a bit more work.

I thought his eyes would be sore when I found out what causes the discharge @Dimity . They are not sore at all. My other cat gives his eyes, ears and face a thorough wash almost every day without any sound from him. I’ve been wiping discharge away from his eyes for months, he still doesn’t like me doing it.
below is a screenshot of terracotta bowls I’ve bought which will be partially buried into the soil. I’m hoping they will make it bit easier to replant annuals. The bowls are 21cm across and 9cm deep.

@Patches59 so what you're telling me is that it's kinda like your cat is crying tears of blood?
Metalllllll 😈🤘
Oh those sets are so cool!! Have you got any other boats? Cos you could legit build an armada!! ahahaha
Oooh feel free to share pics once you got all your plants potted!!
@Dimity that sucks you didn't even get notified! Grrrr
