Thankyou so much for all your insight re PARCs @Judi9877 Funnily I am at the mental health clinic & enquired with his cm a few moments ago, before seeing your message! Life is full of these 'law of attraction' moments isn't it?!
It was good to read he could order UberEats! Something he did lots of during hospital stays.
The cleaning sounds like godsend to me at least - I'm always stuck doing ALL the chores.
I don't think he is motivated to go yet. I am trying to keep momentum tho & maybe get him interested.
So grateful for yours & others input, as I have zero knowledge/experience with this & it's good to get 'real' person perspectives. I also really appreciate the support. Xx

I've been to Coober Pedy @TAB many years ago when we drove around Australia. Those underground homes are quite amazing. I ended up buying a watch with an opal face. It was weird driving into Coober Pedy with holes in the ground everywhere and road signs saying danger you could fall down a hole! I did not stay in Coober Pedy long enough. Ended up driving to Alice Springs and staying in a motel.
Any thoughts about providing independent living to someone who is aged or disabled? Its just an idea. You could be a housemate to someone in need through those independent living websites. Want to see you housed @TAB Those observations you have about older building constructions are very insightful. My place is a 1970's house and theyre not built for the extreme weather elements.
I am about to have a siesta

Prob things that can be down retrospectively re 1970s house @Former-Member like clad existing walls, roof airflow etc also heatsinks plus can plant shrubs/trees to funnel wind to house...
enjoy your nap. Its trying to rain here. Get very heavy drops then in stops
