Was any of it threatening?

Obviously i don't expect you to go into any details, but it just sounds very odd.  I can understand why you'd feel a bit unsettled.

Does the number come up in the history?

I would note down any details about the call.  Like the date/time of the call, what they said, and the number if it came up.  If they call again, then add that to the notes.  It sounds like you know them, so i'm assuming it's not a crank call.  If they did threaten you with violence, harm or intimidation then report it to the Police on the non-urgent number.  You could even call them just for advice.  If the number did come up on your phone then block it.

Obviously I don't know much about the situation or who this person was, what they said etc, so i'd say just trust your instincts as to what you should do?  Do you think it was a one off call?

Yeah, i get that not wanted to deal with it.  So just block the number on your phone and note down the details of tonights call just in case you need it if it's not just a one off.  Hopefully it was.

It sounds like they've been talking to someone who knows enough about you and decided to give you a call just to be a #$@k.  You've blocked them so let's just hope that the end of it.  But i totally understand how unsettling it must be.  Why anyone would think the call was a worthwhile use of their time is beyond me.

It's certainly strange, but they must have gotten the info from someone.  Maybe a family member or someone... who knows.  Just make sure everything is locked and try to think of other things. Surely, not even an idiot would be dumb enough to ring you on their own phone then come over in the middle of the night.  So try to get some rest and keep your phone close by if that makes you feel a little safer.
