MENTAL HEALTH AWARENESS MONTH: Australia, Let's Talk (October 2023)

Re: MENTAL HEALTH AWARENESS MONTH: Australia, Let's Talk (October 2023)

Definitely do it @Snowie. I found it really interesting.

Re: MENTAL HEALTH AWARENESS MONTH: Australia, Let's Talk (October 2023)

Thanks, @Captain24  ❤️ I also look for kindness and honesty in others, and prioritise them in myself.

@Snowie  The survey was worded well so that it was easy to understand and click on. (I usually find surveys difficult) 💙

Re: MENTAL HEALTH AWARENESS MONTH: Australia, Let's Talk (October 2023)

@NatureLover @Captain24 did the survey

My highest one's were love and humility.

My lowest was humor which doesn't surprise me!

@Snowie  Love and humility are absolutely beautiful ones to have as your top character qualities 💙

Humour was also lowest for me!

I guess you could say I’m creative. I love using my hands to craft all sorts of things, soaps, candles, resin, potpourri.

Love that @Former-Member . Would love to see a pic of your creations if you ever get a chance to post.

Thank you for sharing!

They are great strengths to have @Snowie. It something that you can feel good about

Re: MENTAL HEALTH AWARENESS MONTH: Australia, Let's Talk (October 2023)

I've done the questionaire also which helped me identify

-empathy

-kindness

-love.

I never thought of writing until people have commented on my ability to describe places with full details, this allowing the reader to picture themselves being there

I would tell my younger self that withdrawing from everyone and everything will only delay and it will always catch up to you. I would tell my younger self that allowing support from those around me is ok and you would never ever be a burden. ❤️

Re: MENTAL HEALTH AWARENESS MONTH: Australia, Let's Talk (October 2023)

I would like to share a youtube video that I was shown when I was in early high school, I remember watching it all the time and it just really made so much sense and helped me block out some negative thoughts upon myself. I think when I watch it (I often still do) it helps me remember that everyone's outlook is different in life and also the way people treat us is not a reflection on ourselves and who we are but on the individual and how they feel and reflect on themselves.
