Share a cuppa?

Re: Share a cuppa?

I hope they do! @tyme only saw all the kids at mums funeral and that’s kind of it I used to see them a lot more often. think about them a lot though.

I just had a thought while I was pulling the washing off the line (and immediately went back to bed because that’s all my energy),

as much as I like gardening and the satisfaction and how good it is that we have sunshine, being able to hang washing out and bring it within the day or following day instead of hanging it up inside, walking around the hangers that take up all that space, and waiting a week for it to dry, is one of the big house hold satisfactions, tell me if you agree

Re: Share a cuppa?

I really think about how much more I could have done for them and been there for them more

Re: Share a cuppa?

I'm just chilling on the forums with everyone @Meowmy . What are you up to this evening?

Re: Share a cuppa?

hey @Meowmy

Re: Share a cuppa?

Totally agree @ArraDreaming ! I love the fresh air drying the clothes as opposed to a clothes dryer or indoors.

Re: Share a cuppa?

We don’t even have a dryer so in the heart of winter we were going to the laundry mat because stuff really would not dry it would take a week in front of our only heater which is in our only living room I remember one week our entire lounge room just being filled up with clothes hangers and the kids thought it was so fun like a cubby hahaha @tyme

Re: Share a cuppa?

@tyme hi Tyme, hope you enjoy the forum tonight. I am not feeling well. Had big anxiety attack since yesterday. Also physical issue with stomach and dizzy. So just resting tonight. Hope tomorrow will be better.

Re: Share a cuppa?

Laundry cubbies @ArraDreaming . Now that's creative!

That's real childhood. I used to play all that when I was a kid. I remember having encyclopedias and I'd stretch sheets across the room then hold them down using encyclopedias.... one night, I was sleeping in the 'cubby' and the cubby collapsed and the encyclopedias fell on me. I ended up with all these bruises but I couldn't cry because I knew it was my fault!

Re: Share a cuppa?

Hugs @Meowmy . If you need a cuppa, I can make you one? Will that help you feel better?

Re: Share a cuppa?

Hahahaha sorry but I laughed out loud that’s something our oldest would do, in lockdown we had homemade cubbies up for weeks at a time and nobody was allowed near them let  alone take them down I’d go in there to get him out and he’d scream at me to get out, good times @tyme
