Share a cuppa?

Re: Share a cuppa?

How's your week been @ArraDreaming and @Meowmy?

Re: Share a cuppa?

Oh @ArraDreaming , do you remember ANY foods at all? You prob know more than me.

To non-First Nations people, as soon as people say food, we think of grubs and kangaroo. But I'm sure there's soooo much more than that.

When I watch documentaries about Country, I am totally in awe to see how sophisticated their ways were.

I was reading only yesterday about how they used hot and cool fires to regenerate the land, and how each tribe had say over who hunts on their land. The rock art, tracking, etc.....

Wow wow wow....

Oh, and I wouldn't mind a warm hot choco tonight.

Re: Share a cuppa?

I love pea and ham soup @Meowmy.

Re: Share a cuppa?

Re: Share a cuppa?

Lol @ArraDreaming ,

Not so much 'what's in them' but more the experience.

It's just being able to sit and chat with people over a cuppa and fine finger foods.

Re: Share a cuppa?

I'm really pleased my trumpet playing is getting so much better really quickly, I'm playing Schubert, Bach, Vaughan-Williams, Finzi, I'm playing jazz music, and my mum sent me a work she's written to work on. At the risk of blowing my own horn (pun intended), I'm not doing too badly in the music department right now .@Jay5. I also watched the NAIDOC Awards the other night, it was really good.

Re: Share a cuppa?

No worries @ArraDreaming ! Is it the Cheerios you need again???

Hope I haven't missed anyone's order! @ArraDreaming @Meowmy @Abner !

Re: Share a cuppa?

Trumpet playing is hard for me @Abner . I love playing double bass baritone etc.

I still need to perfect my piano.

And violin, guitar etc? forget it!

Re: Share a cuppa?

@Abner , I heard a quote today "Music heals in a way medicine can't"
