Share a cuppa?

Re: Share a cuppa?

It sounds like she's bored at home without human 'interference'. @ArraDreaming May need constant stimulation when people aren't at home.

Re: Share a cuppa?

Yeah if I could attach a video for you I would, shes full talking tonight very vocal with me @tyme
she has something to say!

Re: Share a cuppa?

Poor Nicki @ArraDreaming

Re: Share a cuppa?

yeah poor thing, life is hard for a dog that sleeps inside, sits in front of fire and even had her own bedroom until recently, most dogs like her are out on a farm she would cry if I put her in a paddock and asked her to be a working dog lol @tyme

Re: Share a cuppa?

She's one special dog @ArraDreaming

Re: Share a cuppa?

she was my mums best and probably only friend @tyme

Re: Share a cuppa?

Hi @ArraDreaming, @Shaz51, @Oaktree, @Former-Member, @Meowmy, I've only just gotten back from seeing a great production of Benjamin Britten's "The Turn of the Screw". Loved it! And then Andrew and I went and had dinner, drinks and delicious cheese and biscotti at a restaurant, and we talked about music, art, and the way that they can give us a kind of metaphysical experience of things we don't normally do in our own individual lives, and they can also gently allow us the option of turning down those opportunities if we so wish without being judged. I like art that deals with dark themes, there are people who don't care to see art that's about abuse or horror, and that's ok too.

How are you all? I hope you had a good weekend.

Re: Share a cuppa?

Re: Share a cuppa?

Hi @ArraDreaming, I hope you had a good night of sleep last night, I slept like a log, I was so tired and woke up VERY well rested this morning.

Still thinking about that opera last evening, the story's quite deep...and the music follows what are called tone row patterns, which are very difficult for a singer to sing because you have to find the notes of your part without the aid of the other singers or musical instruments. With tone rows, in each musical phrase no note is repeated is repeated anywhere within that phrase, either vocally or instrumentally; it's really difficult, and they did it beautifully. They're elite musicians.
