Today we picked lots of snowpeas, and silverbeet, and some lettuce, spinach and kale which went into dinner

I went to the gardeners lovers fair today in Mount Macedon, and it was so amazing it was an absolute gardeners heaven, it was so good I would definitely recommend anyone in the area to go, it’s on tomorrow I got to see one of my all-time favourite landscape gardeners but also Maggie Beer is there tomorrow.
The grounds it was held on was epic, an old cottage on a big property called Bolobek
We walked around the grounds for ages, we ate lunch on the grass and then my kids just ran around the place for ages

harvested our first straebrrry today straight from the garden,
We got one ripen a week or two ago but a bird ate it right in front of me and them flew off like it was laughing at me so we had to wait until today to get the next one

hilariously we had to share it between 4 people but then one of my kids cried because they didn’t want to share it between 4 people so my partner picked a supermarket strawberry from the fridge and wow all of a sudden we actually grew two so us adults didn’t actually get to taste it 🤣 we went halviedcin the store bought and pretended it was so good

Btw, are you SANE email notifications going into your spam folder? I'm trying to see what's going on. Some people are saying all sane emails are going into junk now. Maybe that's why the forums are so quiet?
