oh nice @Bill16 was he into wood chopping? or just likes them. i have seen a lot of really nice viking axes and people who have made broad axes into some amazing designs.

My late grandfather had a saw mill in Busselton WA @Jacques my dad worked on the twin saws,he also was a trucky carting logs from out bush too the mill

oh wow @Bill16 that is so awesome. i bet it was a really hard slog, so cool you have so much history, i don't know much well anything about my dad's family, i spoke to them once when i was 8 and they told me they never wanted to hear from me again, so i don't have the cool history you have. 

 

try to spend as much time as you can chatting with your old man and absorb all you can, i can promise you it will be with you forever.
