Women's health (TW)

Re: Women's health (TW)

I hope your results come through soon. @avant-garde ❤️

Re: Women's health (TW)

So I got my results, the screening came back clear but the swab she took for infection came back with bacterial vaginosis... apparently it's common if not more common than thrush...

Re: Women's health (TW)

So mixed news @avant-garde . I think I saw yesterday for bacterial vaginosis partners should be treated too.

I'm going OK but up a lot at night and not getting as much bedrest as I should during the day. Maybe I should take things slower but it's a bit frustrating.

Re: Women's health (TW)

@Dimity female partners yes, male partners no.

I would have to be sexually active for that to be required though

Re: Women's health (TW)

Hope it's readily treatable @avant-garde . It's good your screening was clear.

Re: Women's health (TW)

Re: Women's health (TW)

@Glisten

Am currently trying to find a new GP after many failed attempts to get my current GP to listen when I say that perimenopause has triggered/increased PMDD symptoms to the point that I can only predict my period by RSD and suicidal thoughts 😮💨

Re: Women's health (TW)

Oh my stars @ficklewind ! I’m sitting here shaking my head thinking that your GP should be ashamed of themselves.

I’m annoyed that in this country, women continue to be treated as ignorant second class citizens.

@ficklewind you said that you are looking for a new GP?

I hope this link helps you. Big HUGS 🫂
