I was wondering if there is a spot that explains all the different member types

I know the contributor ones I think but I see all these others too that confuse me... such as peer support worker, community lead, community guide, community elder, moderator, admin...

hmm im not sure if there is a particular spot but i can tag an @moderator and they can explain it too.

a community guide like myself are volunteer members who help to welcome and guide people around the forums, encourage members to join in to different places like the chats or other threads suitable to that member.
a community elder is a retired community guide

A moderator is a sane staff member who usually checks over all the posts etc

community lead and peer support worker are also staff that are hired by sane as peer support workers or team leaders.

Hey @avant-garde, thanks for your enquiry about the terms on the Forums. I will explain them and tag @tyme as there may be a more formal explanation within the Forums that they can share.

peer support worker - a moderator with a lived experience of mental health 

community lead - the lead worker on the Forums

community guide - a volunteer (another Forums Member) who is in a role to support and engage with the community

community elder - a Forums Member who has graduated from being a Community Guide

moderator - a support worker who moderates the Forums

admin - tag for anything related to administration
