All's quiet until it's not.
SH yesterday, so she rang from the hospital about dinner time to ask if she could get a lift home afterwards. Hubby went in to get her about at our normal bedtime, so we had a late night last night, and of course didn't sleep really well.

We'll finally get to see the MHS psychiatrist this week, so I think we'll be asking whether her medication needs a bit more of a review. There's one that she's on for a different condition that does have a warning that it can increase thoughts of SH/SI. It's been a bit on the frequent side lately. Bit dangerous. 😞

I hope that you get good open communication around this and are not fobbed off in relation to med for other condition, pdocs are medically trained doctors and if a multidisciplinary approach is needed that they get onto it.

No "new news" since the last incident.

I'm plain tired of not being able to keep our daughter safe. 😞

Hubby and I had a nice day out yesterday. Was good, we needed that.

It gets hard to find space for our own lives and plans in between assorted crises. But am sure everyone here is familiar with that.

Q.E.D....She's back at the hospital. 😞 Waiting for further news.

I don't know whether an admission to the psych unit would be a good thing at the moment or not. It's so under pressure due to nowhere-near-enough-beds that most of the time it's functioning as a containment unit rather than a refuge.
