Hi @Jojo2
It is super confusing at the start. You can talk on nay thread you want. Some people like to stick to certain threads that they have started, but that does not mean you cannot use that thread either.
You are welcome to write on here whenever you want/need to.

I Snowie
I have only just reviewed your thread and apologies for the delayed response. I so adore your puppy picture and hope that such a beautiful creature is providing warmth to you and the difficulties in your life.
I am hopeful that this may help you. Nightmares are certainly hideous and mine are incessant, active and alive. According to HB I fight in my sleep, fists punching, legs flaying and I awaken feeling like dirt. They are vivid, although dissipate as the day progresses, I just recognise the emotional aftermath. There is extremely strong theory that supports the experience of nightmares as a method of guiding the subconsious mind to attain relief. The experience susequently embeds the truama into consciousness and allows the mind to embed the trauma into long term memory, providing relief.
Please allow self compassion - it is deserved by us all.
With many thoughts and thankyous for the kindness and support I recieve on this forum.
