Evening @Sans911. Please don't hold back on sharing the better days with me. I love hearing about those days. How did it all go today?
I am ok. Have been able to distract myself and am trying to stop my thought process and just be.
H has been really helpful yesterday and today which has helped.

I'm pleased to hear H has been helpful. Do you think those sessions with you gave slightly better understanding of you?
I'm here if you need me too hun.

@Sans911The problem H had with me is that he didn't have control and could not make it "better". He is his own boss at work, so is used to having the control over his business and emplyees. My MH is something he cannot control nor fix. He admitted that this is hard for him. He has been better since admitting this and realising this.
How was your day sweetie?

Yes, many families feel utterly helpless when someone has MI. They often lack understanding of what is going wrong, all they know is someone they love is in intense pain. So instead they often want to fix things. And then the person with MI understands things can't magically be fixed, as much as they want that, but they still are essentially the same person, just hurting intensely. And they want to be heard, they want someone to care about them, love them unconditionally and wholely through the whole journey. And yes, he is the problem solver, the master and commander in his work environment. And I get he loves you so much, wants to protect you from all this. And he can't. I'm glad though he's got some perspective, fir his sake and yours.

@Sans911I think with that perspective came some understanding from him too in that some things need to just be for now.
Have you got anything planned for tomorrow?
We have a long weekend here so might try and go do something as a family if I feel ok. Have been looking at tattoo designs for my next tattoo!
