Not Coping

Re: Not Coping

Hey @Blackbird11 @ENKELI

You both still around?

Re: Not Coping

@Blackbird11 I'd love to visit NT and Tas! My dad was in the army so we moved about every 6 or so months so I've lived in every state including ACT except for Tas and NT.

I was fortunate enough to spend 3 months in North America many years ago, I loved Canada and would love to return. I have friends in the US that I'd love to see again too.

Re: Not Coping

@Birdofparadise8 I'm here. How are you doing now?

Re: Not Coping

Not great, but I've taken my meds, so hopefully, I'll go to sleep at some point. I'm trying to do a punch needle from Kmart. It's a bird, but when I punch it through and then take it out, the wool just comes out and doesn't stay down. It's very frustrating. @ENKELI

Re: Not Coping

@Jynx & @bartart23

I've been trying to compose a message to you without sounding dumb or offensive so my apologies if I upset either of you.

I am a Christian and quite often I am ashamed to say that because of what the religious community do and say about trans people.

My belief is that Jesus told us to love everyone, not a certain set that fits into their nice little square.
I guess I really want to understand more about the community without the bias that you tend to get online and from most religious groups.

As I said please accept my apologies if I am over stepping boundaries

Re: Not Coping

@bartart23 all good! If you check the link I posted above, it'll tell you about Qlife - they're a support organisation run by and for queer folks, and they have a helpline that you can call if you wanted to chat to someone about your experiences.

Not uncomfortable at all! If I was, I would say so 😉

Re: Not Coping

@ENKELI aww thanks for sharing! Don't worry, you're not overstepping boundaries and I appreciate you asking. I'm all for curiosity, especially because the majority of transphobia is rooted in ignorance.

What would you like to understand about the community?

Re: Not Coping

Ok @Jynx  I do have some questions 😊

I don't how to say it

To be honest you're the first to know about it 😄

I honestly don't fit in anywhere everyone is ashamed of me  yes I am no sex I am just a sad person

Sorry for being here

Re: Not Coping

@bartart23 you don't have anything to apologise for! I'm glad you're here, this community is all about acceptance and connection.

Aww that makes me feel all warm and fuzzy, I'm glad you feel safe enough here to talk about it!

I'm open to questions of all sorts - I like the saying, 'The only stupid question is the one you don't ask'.

I'll be here for another 20 min before logging off but if you wanted to take your time to think of questions feel free to tag me and I'll respond the next time I log on. We also have a community thread here for LGBTQ+ folks, you can always ask/share over there as well!

Re: Not Coping
