i had to take out a loan that i cant really afford but i need the healthcare.
the other one i was meant to see was $900 but i said no way @tyme

Sometimes, if you speak to them about your situation, they may have a concession for you @outlander

i went with the 700 one @tyme plus they are closer and can offer telehealth when i cant travel.
they dont offer concession unless i have pension, or healthcare cards but since i am not on centrelink and dont qualify for low income card ten there is nothing on offer.

i should get to the medicare threshold soon though @tyme i have multiple appointments with psychologist, pain specialist, neurologist, physio and another specialiast that i should be pretty close to it. i normally make that mark by around the 6 month mark depending how many appointments i need to attend even on a pension so i think i should be fairly close to it now which means ill get bigger rebates back

Why I'm saying this is because the Doc has a say in how much they charge you. 

I have my old psych and I'm supposed to pay a few hundred dollars out of pocket, but because I asked if he was taking his old rate before he changed clinics, he ended up saying yes and I only pay about $50. 

I'm not on any concession cards. I just happened to ask. If he said no, it wouldn't have mattered for me.

i dont know @tyme im not one to ask and advocate for myself and its to embarassing if anyone else does it either so ill just pay it and hope i dont need to many appointments
