The Challenges of Mental Health Wellbeing

Re: The Challenges of Mental Health Wellbeing

Ahhh... Yep that's me @outlander

I've been known to stay up all night before removal day sorting things out to the last minute or repack suitcases for the tenth time.

When I worked on the ship during one contract, I had finished work for the evening, had my dinner and went to finish packing. About an hour later we got a cardiac arrest call, so everyone in the medical team has to attend plus lots of other people. By the time we stabilised the patient and could leave the night nurse on her own it was after 2am. So I went back to my cabin and finished packing. I think I got to bed about 4am! Disembarking crew had to be in the crew area at 8am!

Suffice to say I don't do anything the usual or easy way.

I love Sydney @MDT

An amazing city. I used to live on the Central Coast many years back. After visiting my old unit last year, it's become a nightmare with traffic so I'm glad I'm not there now. I used to work in a very large hospital on the North Shore. It was quite a trek each day back and forth.

I've just taken my meds, which I had to take all at once because Jasper was bouncing all over me. That was 7 all in go. I was nearly sick. I'm consoling myself with a peice of dark chocolate.

No worries @MDT

I sleep fairly well with the meds I'm on, but lately they're less efficient.
