Re: Who's who in the zoo: Meet the moderators
Just realised that I hadn't posted in this intro thread.I only posted my intro in carers.
So here it is:
Howdy howdy!
I'm CherryBomb, the Online Community Engagement Specialist at SANE Australia. I work very closely with @NikNik on the Forums.
I am an animal and general creature lover, including humans. If you happen to read my posts regularly, you may pick up on how much I love dogs. I think my profile pic sums me up pretty well. Not that I put my foot in my mouth, so to speak, but I like to have a laugh. In my spare time I enjoy studying and learning, rock climbing, going to gigs and theater, cooking and yoga... so many things to enjoy!
I love my job here on the Forums. I think there are great benefits in being able to tell your story, and hear others' stories who have been through something similar. There's stigma surrounding MI, and while I think it's a large task to overcome, I believe that coming on the Forums, and sharing your story can help challenge perceptions that people (including ourselves and others) have of MI.

Hi all,
JumpinJojo here....
I thought I would pop in and introduce myself as one of your new team of moderators from MIFQ (Mental Illness Fellowship QLD)
I won't say too much, other than it is an absolute pleasure to be a part of the forums.
I look forward to learning from you, and sharing in your journeys...
Happy posting,

Re: Who's who in the zoo: Meet the moderators
Hi Kdog13 here and I am also a new moderator. I have worked for MIFQ for the last five years with the Personal Helpers and Mentors program. Over the years I have been envolved with dog obedience and spent 10 years as a volunteer with the local dog club as an instructor helping others train their dogs. In recents years I have embarked on further study into fitness and currently trying to finish my Cert IV in Fitness. I love my footy and of course I am a Broncos supporter and a keen Queensland support when it comes to State of Origin. Favorite colour is purple and an animal lover not just dogs but cats, rats, rabbits, and fish. Don't mind fishing as long as I don't catch anything. So that's a little bit about me.

Re: Who's who in the zoo: Meet the moderators
Hi Everyone,
I am a new moderator, I looking foward to getting to know people already using the forums and the "newbie's" like me. I would like to share something about my self, as a start. I have a really strong belief in community. I love the feeling you get when peolpe communicate and work together. This is why I have joined in with the forums. I enjoy the simplest of things a good laugh, music coffee with friends and learning new things. Something quirky is I have to many pets for one family and I have a dog called Dog.
Ok bye for now looking foward to joining in now and again.
Tria

Re: Who's who in the zoo: Meet the moderators
Ah ha! My turn...
Im Baboo,
I have been working for MIND Australia for i think 8 years now :S and now im here with you guys-sane twice a fortnight aswell.
I have had several lifes like a cat i think- moved around too much and never seem to know where im going.
I am a very caring giving listening type of person i think-
I have a family and pets, am very much loving fitness ( but i am eating nutella out of the jar right now...)
My profile picture is an old fav cartoon i use to love- i think ive always been a bit odd and alternative like.
Before family life i was a big animal and visual arts type of person.
Ha, this is a little tricky with out giving too much away 😉

Re: Who's who in the zoo: Meet the moderators
Hi all,
I’m Rhythm, one of the new moderators on the sane forums.
A little about me as my name might suggest, I love music; dancing and singing these are some of my passions. I firmly believe in the motto, ‘live to your own beat’.
I like a big variety of music genres, any music that you can boogie too really in particular.
Have a great desire to help others, and like talking to people about their stories, can’t wait to ‘see’ you all
Stay Groovy,
Rhythm
