A couple of times the ducklings have got stuck and need a bit of help and a couple of times have walked all over my feet while trying to herd them in the right direction.  A couple of years ago whme had them in summer abd it was hot enough to swim with them.  I can get close to them but I try not to touch them if i can help it.
