Re: Best Friends Club

Hi @Shaz51

Decluttering, something I have always done. Are you a collector of sorts?

I have not tried books with headphones yet, am mid stream through a fantasy series given to me by my son in instalments over a few birthdays, it is a good series by Brandon Sanderson if you want to try some fantasy. Amazon seems to dominate the headphone space, or do you use a different source for audio books.

Otherwise I have tried writing, self-published to zero acclaim and success, but it was a task I set myself. Now I am left with a lot of written clutter in the form of short stories, writing is easy, editing is damnably difficult.

Then i walk, it is recommended with type 2 diabetes and something I enjoy anyway.

Cheers

@Oaktree

thanks for the heads-up, will try to keep my feet under me.

Did you ever indulge in sports like golf? I am finding that walking suffices now, was never much for jogging it just seemed like masochism.

Dear @Gremlin24

I'm so sorry to hear you're feeling so down.

It's understandable that you're feeling like "what's the point" with the NDIS when you're feeling this bad.  I'm thinking of you and sending you strength and light.

Remember how you helped me with my exhusband ? He was going in and out of hospital for the past 6 months.... Your support meant the world to me, you help me understand and put boundaries down.

Iv never put boundaries down on him before.

Is there anything I can do to help?   maybe I could help you research NDIS stuff  if you want to ? No stress  but I help....

Sending you lots of love and support."

  •   I'm here for you if you need anything at all.  Your feelings are valid, they are important. It's okay to feel  like you are.

Re: Best Friends Club

@PeppyPatti honestly from the bottom of my heart, thankyou ♥️. Just knowing that i have your support means so much right now.

I really am so glad I've been able to help you and setting boundaries takes so much strength so well done to you.

I don't even know how the whole process works, I've gone in to a place and sat down with them and filled in all the information but because I didn't have enough supporting documents from my doctor, it's not worth submitting it yet. I don't know how else I'm supposed to get these documents if my doctor can't find them. The psychologist that I used to see i can't make contact with cos the place doesn't exist anymore. I'm not sure what my next step is and if it's possible to continue with the application.

Re: Best Friends Club

I don't know why some people get their licence

  1. Drive into a popular car park
  2. Stand stationary in the middle of said car park
  3. Reverse and use phone at the same time

Me: blare horn so they don't hit me, then walk in to my appointment with my social worker

Who passed that kid, yes she was provisional
