@JRMum most jobs I apply for require a medical. However, with stopping smoking nearly 5 years ago , then covid and basically stopped working as could afford to sit at home have really put lots weight on hence probs w 'functional assessments' this is one of the few times in last few years have fronted up for one, usually dont go through with application if they say go for medical
Anyway, this job is not thru DES, although they have tried something similar. they applied to local smelter for unskilled work in my name. think have got out of it, but may not have heard the last of that.
Toothach another story. had tooth removed with seeming No anaesthetic on thurs , I was groaning in pain in chair

Talking about planting seeds, @tonys, I have just bought rocket, mignonette lettuce, spinach and sweet peas. Must away and sow. Magnificent day here in Melbourne. Ahhh, Spring.

I feel a monster salad erupting. Melbourne's climate has real seasons. Come the thaw, colours n smells of the garden fill the senses @Historylover . I'm envious.. Grew up in the Dandenongs and miss the place
big time. Soon as I get out of here, I'll hobble my way to the shed, stroke the old tractor till it purrs, and see if there's just one more crop in my intemperate bones.
You gone and done it now. fired me all up. Be dreaming my little farm dreams tonight.
Thankyou History lover. tonys

Success!I'm just hoping my monster salad keeps growing, @tonys. My green thumb deserted me some time ago, so I've set up another green-house setting as I'm in a sea of concrete and brick and it is so heat absorbing and barren. I did manage a beautiful plant pot though. I'll attach and apologize for the size. Some sizing baffles me at times.
So you're a native Dandenong Ranger! Now I'm envious, @tonys.
(Listen to you waxing lyrical!!)

Hello @Historylover what a beautiful plant, it looks so gorgeous, the colors. Reminds me of violets growing in the garden when I was a child.

It's my pride and joy, @Former-Member.
I finally found a tea bubble for making my fennel tea which I have one of every day. Also a star anise tea. Really mixing it up to get some variety in my day. Spice of life.

As for tea the aniseed taste of fennel and star anise really agrees with me @Historylover. Been on the computer all day. Think I may have a break. I hope you are enjoying the sunny weather.
