@Former-Member i think i remember reading on another thread that you have a stitch builder bear!? do you have a pic of it by any chance?

Re: Life and trauma

Hey @Former-Member.

I'm sorry the cant help you.  I mean it is the one thing they are supposed to do, so you'd think they could at least give you some suggestions.  It feels a bit dismissive of your situation to me.

I'm glad you did get to the shop and get to have a talk (and the hug) from this person that works there.  He does sound like a very kind and caring person.  Don't lose hope, and stay safe Gremlin.  We're her with you keeping you company and supporting you through this incredibly stressful time... doing the hoping for you.

I completely understand that you're more than likely not in any head space to deal with any of this right now.  I'm certainly not giving up so I will keep doing my best to think of anything that may help you.  I had a couple of thoughts of what to try next.  I'll completely understand if you stop reading right here, but I thought I would list them so they're there and you can look at the later when and if you're feeling up to it.

  • Housing SA sent you to this service, so you should go back to them and say you were just turned away without any advice at all.
  • CentreLink have crisis payments or rent assistance adjustments you may be eligible for.
  • I think i've suggested RienRightSA before as a way to get legal advice regarding rent increases
  • Places Like Uniting SA, Anglicare, or St Vincent De Paul can offer emergency relief assistance with rent costs
