It is essential to open up about our mental health issues, as it is high time that we prioritize our wellness before the opinions of others. Opening up about mental health issues is essential because it helps reduce stigma and encourages others to seek support without fear of judgment. Sharing struggles allows individuals to receive emotional support, professional help, and practical advice to improve their well-being. Bottling up emotions can lead to increased stress, anxiety, or depression, making the situation worse over time. Speaking openly fosters a sense of connection, reminding people they are not alone in their struggles. It also raises awareness and promotes mental health education and understanding in communities. Ultimately, open conversations lead to healthier relationships and a more supportive society.

Thank you for sharing this @heera72.
I'm one to bottle everything up for fear of putting someone else out or making others feel uncomfortable about sharing my story. Recently I've been dealt some bad health issues and it's lead to my mental health deteriorating rapidly. Having no support around me I turned to the forums to try and feel less alone and to make some connections.
I'm still learning how it works and finding the strength to share my story.
