@justanotherguy unfortunately i dont have the means or the time or the ability to put my health first at the moment and putting it first in the past hasnt done me any good anyway all it has done is waste my time because my health never improves it just gets gradually worse and worse.
i am really struggling tonight i am not coping at all and i have tried everything i cant to manage and nothing is working and i am not even able to do small things and i just cant take this much longer.

hey @Eden1919 sounds like tonight is a challenge for you, I know you say it is difficult to do the small things but keep trying doesn't matter how small it is =, it can make a difference. The forums are here for you for you for peer support, but reach out to other services if things harder for you, as your support is important. some nights are just worse than others, but you've got this 🙂

I understand the despair and hopelessness you must be feeling right now and I understand that sometimes, it doesn't matter what others have to say, it still can't get rid of those overwhelming emotions. That's ok, you're ok, there is nothing wrong with you for feeling this way. It looks as if you've had a really hard night, I'm so glad you've continued to reach out here and that @jazz has been able to offer you a more private connection. I've been offered this connection in the past and it saved my life.
I'm sorry I've been a little bit MIA for a few days, I too have been feeling a little bit overwhelmed by the small things surrounding the bigger more critical things that I literally can't get out of!
I'm looking around my room right now, at all the clutter piling up and it's annoying me, I haven't washed my hair in 5 days, because I ran out of shampoo and I'm procrastinating about ordering more. All because of the bigger more pressing things going on in my life, taking that energy away.
What I do know is, those small things don't matter right now. "Don't sweat the small stuff" and "It'll be there tomorrow" are 2 common affirmations I say to myself. Most days it's easier said than done, but when you start to believe it, it starts becoming true.
Do you have a close friend or family member that you can ask to help with the small things or someone you can stay with or have them stay with you for a while, just to have a safe physical connection, some nurturing perhaps? As adults, we forget that we need some nurturing too. It's ok to just need a hug and a meal brought to us sometimes while we fight to keep our heads above water.

@Ilovepenguins , agreed, a hug, a cuppa and a warm smile used to solve a lot of problems.
Also agree with letting things slide if it helps. @Eden1919 , if a task is so important, then for my own sanity I will definitely let things go a bit. Uni deadlines were always important to me too, there was always plenty of time to do the little things after an assignment, like tidying, etc.
Think of maybe a firefighter, or ambulance paramedic. When the call comes in, they drop everything - whatever they were eating, general maintenance, literally everything, to do the main job at hand.

@Ilovepenguins @justanotherguy @NatureLover thanks everyone, i have support workers but they cant help with the stuff i am struggling with at the moment and i dont have anyone else who can help. i am trying to do one thing at a time but i cant even manage that at the moment i am literally unable to do even the most basic tasks at the moment and nothing is helping. idk what to do anymore i just want to give up but i cant even do that because i am trapped. ugh anyway idk what to do anymore i feel completely lost and hopeless.

@NatureLover @Ilovepenguins Thanks I am not going well at all I have so much uni work to do and it all has to be done by Friday and I am struggling I keep sitting down to do it but I can hardly concentrate and the more I read the more scrambled my brain gets and the more I write the less coherent it gets and I genuinely don’t know that I can do this no matter how hard I try and it is making me really suicidal tbh I just feel really hopeless so idk what to do.
