I can't see my GP until next Tuesday to get the mental health plan so just have to put on my "big girl pants". @Snowie Do you have much on today?

@Eve7 I guess at least the ball is rolling and you have taken the first step. Unfortunately it seems like we always have to 'wait' to see our supports. I guess that is what happens when they have too many people trying to see them.
Have got a few things to do but can do them from home. Nice to just stop for awhile.

I told some friends I haven't seen for a while that I'd meet them for lunch today @Snowie I'm not really up to it but's a bit late to cancel now.

It is hard when we are not feeling up to socialising @Eve7 . I get that. Especially when you have to 'act' being happy and 'act' that everything is ok.
Can you tell them you have an appointment this afternoon so you can only stay for a limited time. It might just make it a bit more bearable.

My afternoon turned out ok @Snowie and I enjoyed the catch up. I hadn't seen them for a few years so I just listened while they talked about their busy lives and I didn't feel so bad about mine. Everyone has something to deal with don't they?
I just have a bit of Uni work to finish before a quiz on Friday and that's another subject finished. Uni keeps me alive some days when I'm not in a good place so I'm glad it is there to keep me occupied.
Must be time to cook something but it will be easy tonight.
Hi @tyme thanks for the tag on the other thread. I've been missing you lately. Hope you're well and not too snowed under.

Hugs.
I am sort of snowed under, but i'm in a much better place. I've been having stressful weeks recently, but I made up my mind to stop stressing about things I cannot change..
So I'm in a much better place.
How are you? Are you home now? I know you've been away to see your mum.

I'm so glad you were able to enjoy yourself today @Eve7
You are right, everyone has something to deal with no matter how they come across. Such is life.
It's good to hear that uni helps you hon. I think it is really good that you have something to look forward too.

Yes, I'm home @tyme just had 2 nights away but will see Mum again next month for her 95th birthday,
It was hard coming back home with so much happening and the turmoil of it all but nothing I can do to change the situation.
I'm glad you've been able to step back and take a break. We all need to do that occasionally.
About to cook tea @Snowie then back to my Uni study.
