Re: My special place

I know the feeling @Snowie  hard to see past certain days. I often give myself days to aim towards and to just get past.

im okish today

Re: My special place

Dear @Snowie , I've just discovered on another thread that 2 services now have a 24/7 online chat!

Lifeline 24/7 Webchat  and BeyondBlue 24/7 Webchat ! Did you know? I know you've been looking for something like this...

Re: My special place

P.S. @Snowie  That used book sale sounds great 🙂

Good luck with your psych appt with your hubby present on Tuesday... 🤞

Re: My special place

Hi @NatureLover

Thanks for that information. I didn't realise that the chat was 24/7. I think that will help people a lot.

Did some retail therapy this morning with D. Was nice to get out with her. She has officially finished school now, had her last exam last week.

Might have brought another book today!🤦‍♀️

I started reading a new book last night. Another biography.

I hope today is going well for you hon.

Sending love 💗💗

Re: My special place

Retail therapy with your daughter sounds nice @Snowie  i look forward to the day when my daughter enjoys it and doesn’t just nag to want something or to go home!

what book are you reading?

Re: My special place

She likes it more when I pay for things @Bow!!

I am reading a book called Becoming Free Indeed by Jinger Vuolo. It's about faith and fear.

No worries, it's good news, isn't it!

Your retail therapy sounded good, especially the book 😄

Re: My special place

Well I had my psych appointment with the psych and hubby today.

My psych talked about how hubby can help (push) me to get out more often. She suggested just starting with a 10 min walk each day which I reluctantly agreed too. Doesn't seem hard on paper, but in real life it terrifies me.

They seemed to have a good conversation. I just sat there trying to hide my anxiety and felt like at stages I was just a third wheel.

Don't get me wrong, I am lucky to have a husband that is so supportive, but sometimes I just want to curl up on my bed and ignore the rest of the world.

That was the whole session gone. So no chance to talk to her about what has been happening this week.

Spent the rest of the day hiding from the world and myself.

Re: My special place

Kudos to you for going to your appointment @Bow, I am so proud of you for taking those little steps to feeling better.

I came across this quote today and felt the need to share it.

I hope coming here makes some difference in finding a positive way forward.

Re: My special place

I didn't want to show up

It is un-nerving when someone else comes into my space. Thats what happened today.
