Thanks for checking in @Snowie and it really does sound like you are in the safest place for now.
It’s good you have hubby and kids supporting you. My pdoc says that we need to love ourselves enough to give us a reason to live. It is so hard at times to believe there will be a recovery from our mh.
Staying with you in this journey 💙🩵💙

Hi @Snowie , sorry to hear it'll be 4 weeks instead of 2. It sounds at least that you are safe now.
Hoping that the med change helps 🤞 Sending 💙

Just an update
Had my first ECT session today. All went ok. Have them Mon, Wed and Fri.
Pdoc in here still talking to my normal pdoc about med changes. Hoping something happens in the next couple of days. Still waiting to see a psychologist, not sure if that will happen or not.
My dissociation and flashbacks have increased so hoping when they do some med changes it will help.
They have restricted my leave again with the increase in my SI and SH. Feels like I have someone questioning everything I do but I guess that is their job. Have had some really nice nurses on and have been easy to talk to. There is one specific one that is super nice. She wasn't on today so hoping that she is on tomorrow.
Hubby is bringing the kids in tomorrow afternoon which will be nice to see them. I have spoken to the head nurse and I can get a couple of hours leave tomorrow as long as I am with hubby.
Thanks for reading this. I hope whoever reads this is going ok. Thinking of you all 💕💕

Hey @Snowie i just crawled into bed and was thinking about you so popped by and seen you had posted a little update. It’s really nice to hear from you. I think of you often.
I’m glad your first ECT went ok. I’m really hoping that you see an improvement with the round and that it is lasting for you. That and some med changes. You deserve for things to be a bit easier.
Glad that you’ll have some visitors tomorrow. Enjoy the squishy hugs from your family and perhaps a nice cuppa somewhere?
