I was successful in getting an appointment for tomorrow !

I am pushing and fighting like Lesley Knope @LeChuck 

I pushed and was told again and again he's fully booked no chance for me to get in...so I thought to put it in writing and emailed emailed them "just confirming there are no availible appointments earlier and that I shouldn't call to get one as there aren't any"

After putting it in writing within 5 minutes I got a call offering me an appointment.

I had got to a point where I felt so low and unsafe in this mental health system I think I had given up completely

That's so awesome @EternalFlower !!! So smart to put it in writing. Hell's yeah Leslie Knope is the ultimate thing to strive for! I love that. When I feel down imma remind myself to leslie out a bit!

Very kind words  @Former-Member   and more credit than I deserve .  .   .  but I'll put em in with the grapes,  and this years crush will be a vintage.   

I'm just an old scribe that never went to school who likes to pick his own wild mushrooms.  I leave it to you to join the dots.  

I do have a guitar and follow it everywhere.   I'm blessed with a patch of fertile soil hidden in the mountains 

and a big old farm house thats more animal than mineral.  

Pickers and pokers alike are drawn to the produce in the warm months,  and in winter the ghosts evict them and a silence takes hold.    I love it . . .   but  Its time for a change.

You have the feel of someone who has worked with people a lot.   A unique skill set shows in the way you control the pages you write.    leader ship qualities maybe. . . 

Its fun to imagine who's behind the words   hey   mate.

You put a lot of work into people and have a steady hand,   thats what sparked my interest.

I have to tell you I am no leader.   Even the girls picking the crops order me around all day,  and I'm barred from the packing shed.    And then My booker, . . .  she scares me. .

So I'm going to go out on a limb and say,   I think you do a great job of keeping this vessel centred,  and my punctuality with most thinks I embark on barely qualifies me as crew.

As I said once . .   nice boat,   you have.

I do enjoy the company of the other pirates that keep your thread afloat and will plunder for treasure whenever fleeting gusts of time allow.

I was wondering why we are on a ship. And how we got here. And why are we pirates? I see us as a crew of bandits or misfits - pirates did awful things. I don't wanna be a pirate.

Does anyone else feel like we are gaining more crew? I feel hundreds of new members, maybe afraid to speak yet, or more comfortable listening. I feel a growing silent crew surrounding us, watching, listening.

@StanD maybe they are referring to me? My username is based on the ghost pirate LeChuck from the monkey island games. It's a pretty whimsical take on pirates, they battle with insult sword fights and use rubber chickens to get things done. I do think pirates can be that way, abunch of free spirits on a ship, maybe not making a living because they don't want to rob and murder people, maybe just scraping by with buried treasure and camaraderie to pay the bills 🙂

I think this thread is wonderful and I hope more people start to feel comfortable joining in. To anyone out there who feels us, jump in! Join in! Get on the boat/train/car/plane and let us welcome you. Xx all, I hope everyone is ok today. If not, I'm here to chat.
