@outlander

youve definitely had a lot to deal with in your life luv, in relation to your own mental and physical health, and looking after others. and feeling that your own body is letting you down is the last thing you need! so i hope your body starts behaving itself!

even though you are carer for your pop, he still may be eligible for assistance. but i know what you mean, when they are well all is good, but when things turn pear shaped thats when we need the extra help. i find i manage with mum - i give her a lot of emotional support and take her out, etc. the doctor in ED said that was a lot for me to take on, etc without help from others, eg community support people. i just do it, and i enjoy it. when her mental health declines it is very hard though. and mum is someone who likes to keep to herself, do her own thing. kind of catch 22 - get some other people in for social support but at the same time making sure mum is happy to do so. im not going to just spring it on her you know? otherwise poop will hit the fan lol
