I got a musical jewellery box with 4 paua shell bracelets so I can make 3 that are long enough, 2 butterfly ones like the one my mother gave me that was stolen earlier this year and 2 turtle ones to remind me of the giver. 

I have a mother-daughter type relationship with my inner child, how I wasn't treated as a child and being her mother is healing for me because of the children I've lost, it was like a daughters gift to her mum. 

I got her a unicorn window decoration handmade from resin that says "sweet love" and a book of letters for me to write to her that are prompted about what you would say to her.

She made me smile briefly, now partially listening to an audiobook
