I guess what comes to my mind is what makes it any different to facing a new day? The calendar is a human construct, there never used to be 12 months, only 10, then I think they figured out the lunar cycle.

Anything new is difficult and can be overwhelming, but there's one thing I'm sure of, you're not alone facing this new day, you won't have to do the struggles on your own because we've got your back, just like you had mine on Christmas Day. 

I don't like new years either, too many bad memories and humans don't need another excuse to misbehave, but the fact that we have survived with all that we have to deal with on a daily basis, that's worth celebrating, not just on new years, but everyday. 

 

Do you like iced chocolate? I would offer you hot chocolate but we're not in America where it's cold
