@avant-garde @Snowie Exactly the post I needed to see right now. I had to go back for my cervical screening twice. Now I have a biopsy tomorrow and a pelvic ultrasound next week. I have spent the past few weeks completely dissociated because that is my default response. But I finally managed to reach out to my psychologist about it, which I have never done.
It is helpful to see that I am not alone in this feeling of being triggered. I know why it happens for me but my skills aren't always helpful, especially when multiple appointments happen close together.
