I think the police will act seriously on it, it's a very strange thing for someone to do, and clearly very threatening.

 

You Dr may have made it a double appointment because he may have a couple of extra things to discuss or just thinks your situation needs a bit more time.  The standard appointnents aren't very long these days so it's good that he's giving you that extra time and support.
