@Glisten  very good term. I asked Ai what terminology

" May the ground rises up to meet your feet "

And whether that's an analogy. Ai said no, it's a blessing or prayer.

While the phrase "May the ground rise up to meet your feet"  it's not an analogy.

You employ figurative language

( You have these terms a job )

The rest of the writing is a bit much but I thought ide copy and paste.

Here's why:
* Analogy Definition: An analogy is a comparison between two different things to highlight a similarity in their relationship or structure. The purpose of an analogy is often to explain a complex or unfamiliar concept by relating it to a simpler or more familiar one.
* "May the ground rise up to meet your feet": This phrase is a metaphorical expression within a blessing. It doesn't compare two distinct entities. Instead, it uses the image of the ground rising to meet someone's feet to represent an easy and smooth journey through life. The rising ground isn't being compared to something else; it symbolizes ease and lack of obstacles.
Think of it this way:
* Analogy: "The heart is like a pump." (Compares the heart to a separate object with a similar function).
* Metaphor (within the blessing): "May the ground rise up to meet your feet." (Uses the image of rising ground to represent an easy journey).
The blessing uses metaphorical language to create a vivid and poetic wish for someone's well-being. While metaphors can be part of an analogy, the blessing itself doesn't function as a comparison between two separate things for the purpose of explanation. Its primary function is to express a wish or benediction.

Personally I'll need to read that a few more times. But @Glisten  you could call yourself an archdeacon.
