The Challenges of Mental Health Wellbeing

Re: The Challenges of Mental Health Wellbeing

Re: The Challenges of Mental Health Wellbeing

Please don't feel ashamed hun, it is a coping mechanism. It might not be the best way to cope, but there are worse things that you can do. At the moment when things are so tough, sometimes all we can do is try to get through each day as best as we can.

It's good that your psych cares enough that she wants you to stay safe. I wonder if ringing her could be beneficial. It might be something you could try once and see if it does help.

I haven't found an alternate hun.  I have booked in to have a new tattoo on my wrist, so am trying to use this as a reason to stop. It hasn't seemed to work very well, just transfering the SH elsewhere. I guess my kids are the only reason I stop going further. But sometimes even this isn't enough. I try to think that I deserve a life, I deserve to be happy, but even then, these things are hard to believe in sometimes.

@Sans911I don't think you realise how much talking to you tonight means to me. It is certainly not triggering in any way.

Hello my sweet @Zoe7, what a beautiful picture Heart

Re: The Challenges of Mental Health Wellbeing

Just wanted to send you both my love and to let you know I am reading along but don't want to interrupt - it is a beautiful thing you two talking so openly to each other @Snowie @Sans911

Re: The Challenges of Mental Health Wellbeing

You've got such a beautiful heart @Zoe7. Thanks

Re: The Challenges of Mental Health Wellbeing

Ditto @Snowie. I appreciate you being vulnerable and honest with me. It means so very much. And now the tears have started. But they are 'I'm being listened too, and heard'. But what I wouldn't give for a real hug, and to curl up against someone who knows me well and just let's me go for it( the crying that is)

Re: The Challenges of Mental Health Wellbeing

It's not an interruption @Zoe7

It feel like you're listening to a radio program and you came online to pass a positive comment. I often feel the same when I see the interactions between yourself and f and H.

Re: The Challenges of Mental Health Wellbeing

Goodnight to 2 of the most beautiful and caring people I have in my life - I am having an early night as it is very much needed - I hope you both can get some much needed rest tonight also - you are truly wonderful people. @Sans911 @Snowie Heart

Re: The Challenges of Mental Health Wellbeing

Sometimes being listening to and heard helps us with our big feelings. Let's us know that we are not alone, that there are others that can understand us. If I could give you a real hug right now I would certainly do so. I would wrap my arms around you and tell you that you are not alone and I am with you every step of the way. Cry away hun, if it helps then let it out @Sans911 Heart

This popped up on my facebook feed just before and thought it was fitting.
